A New Year

It's been quite a while since I last posted something here!

And as you can see, though it is very much late for this announcement, we are all still alive! :D Isn't it amazing? :P

Yes, the mayan's were wrong, the world didn't end in a big fiery ball of crazy nor did the zombies rise from their graves to eat the flesh of the living. 

It just started to snow...


But that isn't why I'm blogging after months of nothingness.

I'm actually here to announce something big, something that has been in the mix since last summer. 

I've bought a horse.

Yes, four to five years after I was forced to give away the two older mares we had next door I have finally picked up the reins and got back in the saddle.

His name is Apollo and he's a 3 going on 4 year old registered paint gelding.

At the moment I'm refreshing him since he was off part of last year, but so far we're doing good; except for today -- he was being kind of a butt (his teenager day). 

He's going to be my trail riding mount, mostly, but I do plan on showing him once he's a little older and just in the fun little shows.  At the moment I can't really do a circuit or anything like that :P

Another thing, which I don't think I've mentioned yet (and if I have I apologize for repeating myself) I've switched to western riding.  I find it much more relaxing than english riding (but that's just my opinion, no one needs to bit my head off for my own opinion). 

Anyways, I don't have much more to say for the moment besides that I will try to keep this thing updated on my experience with Apollo.

Zombies and Music

Back again! Yep, I'm going to try and post more often now.

So lately it's been pretty mundane for me; paying bills, riding, walking the dog, etc.  Maybe that's why I've started to blog again. 

Anyways, I'm posting today because it just seems like a very zombie-like day.  And I just went outside and can confirm it looks and feels like a zombie-like day.  Rainy, grey and moody with an overcast sky.  It also doesn't help that everything I'm looking at today is zombie related.

I also found this band on youtube a few months ago called Icon For Hire and I really enjoy their music.  Before clicking on one of their videos I was having an issue finding something new to listen to. 

Well that's about it.

Holy Fish Sticks

It's been way too long, yeah it's been way too long. Let's just say it's been a pretty busy year here. What with work and such, I haven't gotten around to posting anything new recently. Though, I sort of forgot about my blog XD. So what to post tonight. Ah, I have an idea on what to say now. So in the past few months, as stated above, I've been working and I recently started taking riding lessons again. It's something for me to do and it's western riding, which I'm finding to be more my style from english. It's kind of hard to concentrate on this post actually. I'm watching Wolverine and the X-men season 1, so I guess I'll just leave this as is. It was more of a 'I'm still alive' post to be honest. ~Leb~

So it's been a while...I can see that. But i'm back for now with not alot to say besides the fact that I bought four albums in one week. I got Marianas Trench, SIXX AM, Falling in Reverse and the Avengers Soundtrack and that's mostly what I've been listening to since. Anyways, what this post is truly about is the fact that apparently I'm a masichist, masochist...however you spell that >.> You know who you are >.> I'm not a Masochist, really, I'm just clumsy as hell. And that is all, I have nothing more to show and tell, so with that I bid you a due. *Dramatic bow inserted* ~Leb~

OMG I've Been Away Awhile O.O

But not alot of sh*t has been going on so I have had no reason to blog to you invisible friendlings :D

But something has happened, I have upgraded my 10 gallon tank to a brand-spankin' new 20 gallon. Went out today to get a few decor for the tank so it doesn't look so much like Durator (and no I didn't google it because I forgot >.>)and an Oranda Goldfish along with an algae eater...but little did we know we'd be coming home with something i've never encountered in my entire life O.O

Yes we not only brought home Leonidus the Oranda, but we brought home Bob...the Moss Ball.

I sh*t you not, it is called a Moss Ball and they sell them at Petsmart.

At first I thought it would be cool to have a moss ball doing all the work of keeping the algae down without having to worry about it hurting itself or attacking my precious goldfish (True story; I woke up to my albino channel catfish shaking the stripped carcass of my previously healthy Black Moor Nox). But then something amazing happened, something that made me appreciate my little green ball of Bob.

Bob began to bob around the tank O.O (Most likely by the current of the filter but to my easily impressed mind it was pretty cool). He then got stuck on the filter twice before I just stopped taking him off and letting him do his own thing. Recently I've seen him at the bottom of the tank in the corner, just being a Moss Ball.

So that is all for tonight, I've recently suffered a mild concussion, and along with having to get up at 6 am a few weeks ago, I've found that I'm unable to stay concentrated on something past 10 or 11 and by 12 or 1am I'm about ready to just crash headfirst into bed.

Venting

Tis me, back from a long unwanted hiatus. But all i'd like to say is F**k you all :). Because right now I don't care. I seriously don't give a single f**k today, or tomorrow.

Let's start off on why I say the big F U to the world. And it had to do with the economy.

I've tried, oh how I've freakin' tried, to find a job for months now. And I still haven't heard anything back from ANYONE. I don't know what i'm doing wrong...I passed high school, I finished college with a certificate in Animal Care...but still nothing...

Soon i'm going to have to move from where I want to be just so I can find a job. I don't want to move. I really don't.

And another thing that just irks me to no end. The fact that when you go to get a job they want you to have at least 1 or 2 years of experience in that field. What happens if you're new to the field, fresh out of your program, and can't get a job so you can gain experience because you don't have the experience. -_-

And with all that said and done, I'm gone...probably for another long hiatus because I just don't have the time to be on here all the time....

Tis February

Yes 'tis February, the month of love and happiness and stuff...*insert eye roll*

Anyways, a few minor announcements to be held before I say goodnight.

First off I'm still working on a job, but i'm hopefully for this week. I put out eight resumes and did an online application yesterday and so far nothing, but it's only been a day since I threw out the resumes and applications.

Next I'm not sure I want to announce this, but I'll keep you guessing until closer to the end of the year.

And finally I'm planning on moving out this year next year. I'm going to save up money so I'll have somethingn to stand on once I find a place and leave. I think nineteen years, going on twenty this year, is enough time living with your family :|...

So that's about it, wish me luck--if you even read these posts anymore you invisible non commentive viewers >.> and have a happy Valetines day, if that is even possible. If not have a Happy Violentines Day <3 :D I know some people will understand that...:P
